Andritz at Techtextil India

International technology group Andritz is set to showcase its cutting-edge nonwoven and textil solutions at Techtextil India, in Mumbai, from 12th to 14th September. The exhibiton will feature a diverse range of production technologies including air-through bonding, airlaid, airlay, needlepunch, spunlace, spunbond, wetlaid/wetlace, converting, textile finishing, recycling, and natural fiber processing.

Driving Success in wipes market

Andritz spotlight will be on its technologies like “Airlace”, “Spunlace”, “Wetlace”, and “Wetlace CP”. The recent acquisition of Dan-Web expands the offerings of Andritz, promoting sustainability through biodegradable wipes made from natural or recycled fibers. The Montbonnot, France based technical center enables customers to experiment with the technologies under guidance using world`s first nonwovens test facility for wipes.

Complete suite of textile recycling technologies

An additional highlight of the Andritz exhibition will be its array of complete textile recycling lines designed to tackle post-consumer and industrial waste. These lines are engineered to produce fibers suitable for re-spinning and nonwoven applications. The nonwovens industry can integrate recycled fibers into various applications such as automotive upholstery, insulation, mattresses, filtration, and furniture felts. The Andritz Laroche facility in Cours, France, invites customers to explore textile recycling options through expert-led trials.

The needlepunch portfolio by Andritz offers customers fabric production technologies catering to diverse fabric weights. Their latest PTFE processing solutions for filtration, combined with the “ProWid” technology enhances production capacity and uniformity. “ProWid” corrects profile weights and optimizes processes, ensuring uniform product weight and substanical material savings. At the needlepunch technical center at Andritz, Asselin-Thibeau in Elbeuf, France, customers are welcome to conduct trials with experts and compare the different options.
