Techtextil North America is scheduled to take place from May 10th to May 12th in Atlanta, GA. Baldwin is delighted to collaborate with Fi-Tech, Inc. Fi-Tech is a global equipment supplier, working with manufacturers of complete machines or technical components used in the production of polymer, synthetic fibers, nonwovens, textiles, converting, perforated products or in tobacco processing.

Rick Stanford, VP of Global Business Development, Textiles, at Baldwin Technology, will be on hand in the Fi-Tech booth to discuss “TexCoat G4”. The non-contact precision-spray technology helps textile finishers up their game by enabling consistent, high-quality finishing, with zero chemistry waste and drastically minimized water and energy consumption.

In today's cost-sensitive global economy and with a heightened focus by brands and consumers on environmental sustainability, customers are placing a significant emphasis on sustainable textile production. “TexCoat G4's” non-contact spray technology provides several advantages compared to conventional methods of applying finishing chemistry.

Baldwin Technology's “TexCoat G4” precision spray finishing system offers several advantages over conventional methods of applying finishing chemistry. The non-contact technology ensures precise distribution of the chemistry across the textile surface, eliminating chemistry waste and allowing for consistent chemistry coverage rates. Changeovers are only required when there is a change of finish chemistry, and recipe management simplifies the process. The system can process a wide range of low-viscosity water-based chemicals, and single-side applications enable the processing of back-coated or laminated fabrics in a single pass. The “TexCoat G4” system also offers automated speed tracking, fabric-width compensation, and real-time monitoring for optimal performance.
