In view of the many different conflict situations worldwide, the need for personal protective equipment for security forces is increasing.

Fibres are spread into thin tapes using the “UD 700” fibre spreading machine, fed to the “COP MAX 5” multiaxial warp knitting machine at constant tension in a two-stage process and consolidated into high-quality fabrics by means of stitch-bonding. © Karl Mayer
