Iris Schlomski has left the company in June 2021 and is no longer working for textile network. The management of the trade magazine is now in the hands of Sibylle Michel, previously Editorial Assistant at textile network.

Before joining Meisenbach Verlag, Sibylle Michel worked for several years as an editor with a variety of different publishers and academic institutions. She was born in Freiberg/Saxony and grew up in Berlin. Her path led her to Bamberg, the home of Meisenbach Verlag, when she embarked upon her Masters’ degree in German Studies at the local university.

“Some of you will already know me from my position as Editorial Assistant to Iris Schlomski. During this period, our close collaboration has given me a deep and thorough insight into the textile industry and the topics and issues of concern and interest to our readers,“ says the 33-year-old. After many years in Bamberg, she is now returning to Berlin where she will be managing the magazine. “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to carry our specialist magazine into the future and to lead it with as much esprit and passion as my predecessor!”
