The new issue of textile network has arrived!
The summer issue of our trade magazine for the textile industry is packed with news and also marks a debut for the textile network team.
Anna Ugrica is no longer working for textile network and is taking on another position within the publishing house. Back from 14 months of parental leave, the summer issue is therefore my first publication after returning as editor in charge of textile network. I look forward to exploring the fascinating world of textiles with you again and discovering the exciting stories behind the fabrics!
New direction in marketing
But that’s not all at textile network: We are readjusting our marketing strategy with our new colleague Antje Günther. The four bilingual print and e-paper editions as well as the German and English websites will from now on be managed centrally by Ms. Günther in her role as media consultant. She can be contacted on 0951 861 145 or by e-mail at antje.guenther@meisenbach.de. Of course, she will also be there for you in person at the relevant trade fairs and industry events.
Topics of our summer issue 2024
In our latest issue, we focus on innovative approaches that rely on the circular economy and technological advances to secure the future of textile production. Companies such as Gebr. Otto, Fristads and Kuori show how sustainability can succeed in the various segments of the industry. We shed light on what the Digital Product Passport is all about and present a playbook with useful tips and information. Philippe Ribera, Vice President of Innovation at Lectra, explains why open innovation is essential for a functioning supply chain.
You can also find out all about the latest fabric trends for the spring and summer 2025 season and the potential of textile, organic and plastic waste for the production of yarns. We also discuss the current precarious economic situation in the Chinese textile trade. And many other exciting topics from the world of textiles await you in our 2/2024 issue!
I hope you enjoy reading it!
