Denim Première Vision showcases the industry’s innovative drive
The fifth edition of Denim Première Vision in Milan once again demonstrated the remarkable innovative power of the international denim sector.
More than 2,300 professionals from over 50 countries and some 830 companies gathered in the Italian fashion capital in November to explore the latest developments and trends for Spring/Summer 2027.
Inspiration from design, research and industry
Around 65 exhibitors presented their latest collections and technologies. The event was complemented by the Fashion District, where 25 brands displayed their latest finished products, eight of them as part of the SIStyle Denim Lab programme supported by the Kering Material Innovation Lab. Nine conferences led by 19 internationally recognised denim experts attracted more than 400 participants to discuss key topics such as sustainable dyeing processes, circular economy strategies and design innovation.
The highly qualified visitor base included representatives from leading fashion houses such as G-Star, Hugo Boss, Diesel, Gucci, Givenchy, Max Mara, Replay and Vivienne Westwood.
Fabio Adami Dalla Val, Show Manager of Denim Première Vision, emphasised the event’s strong sense of community and creativity: “This edition once again reflected the vitality and excellence of our community and the entire denim ecosystem.”
Partnership driving bio-based dye innovations
A highlight of the Milan show was the announcement of a new collaboration between Denim Première Vision and technology pioneer Chloris. The joint research, development and design programme focuses on bio-based dyeing methods and next?generation pigment technologies. The project aims to explore new performance standards and aesthetic possibilities for denim and marks the first time a trade fair has actively contributed to a scientific and creative research framework.
Initial results of this partnership are expected to be unveiled in May 2026, underscoring the growing role of Denim Première Vision as an innovation platform and strategic partner for the global denim industry.
