Stäubli: 3D Weaving Systems for Techtextil
At Techtextil 2026, Stäubli showcases weaving technologies for demanding technical textiles, from advanced 3D fabrics to precise Jacquard and dobby systems for industrial applications.
High-performance weaving for technical applications
7The demand for reinforcement fabrics, multilayer constructions and specialised industrial textiles continues to rise across sectors such as aerospace, defence, energy and mobility. Mills aiming to address these markets require reliable equipment, flexible weaving architectures and precise material handling when working with complex fibre structures. Stäubli aligns its systems with these needs, combining mechanical robustness and accurate motion control.
3D and multilayer capabilities
The TF series forms the core of the company's presentation in Frankfurt. The TF20 is engineered for high-speed operation and can be equipped with a double rapier system, increasing output for lightweight composite reinforcements. The TF30 places emphasis on gentle yarn handling and supports intricate structures used in aerospace-related and industrial fabrics. Both systems process demanding materials, including carbon, glass and aramid fibres.
Precision through electronic Jacquard technology
For applications requiring detailed control over shed formation, Stäubli presents the UNIVAL 100. Each harness cord is driven individually, enabling sophisticated technical fabrics and 3D structures. The machine is suited for challenging materials such as carbon and glass, where motion precision is critical for fabric quality.
Solutions for heavy and high-tension fabrics
The LX 2494 extends the range to heavy technical textiles. Its wear-resistant construction supports long service life, while the compact M6T three-position module contributes to handling performance. Stäubli also highlights its S2688 and S4080 dobbies, both designed for high-tension applications in industrial environments, including forming fabrics, wet felts and dryer fabrics.
On display in Hall 12.0
All solutions will be presented at the Swiss Pavilion, Booth B01.6, in Hall 12.0 during Techtextil 2026.
