Emtec presents TSA at Techtextil Frankfurt
Emtec will showcase the TSA Textile Sensation Analyzer together with its cloud-based ecosystem at Techtextil Frankfurt 2026. The system enables objectively scaled hand-feel data and supports transparent decision-making across the textile value chain.
The TSA captures the tactile properties of fabrics as objective, quantifiable data. This replaces subjective assessment with defined measurement values, offering a clear basis for comparing and evaluating hand-feel characteristics. At Techtextil in Hall 12.0, Booth A82, Emtec will demonstrate the device and its applications.
In combination with the cloud-based platform, the TSA evolves from a measuring device into a scalable digital system. Users can store, compare, and benchmark hand-feel data globally. The platform functions as a digital marketplace for measured textile attributes, supporting data-driven development, digital quality standards, and new forms of collaboration between brands, manufacturers, suppliers, and research institutions. By establishing a standardized structure for tactile evaluation, the solution makes subjective textile perception objectively measurable, comparable, and shareable.
The TSA has been recognized with two industry awards highlighting its innovation strength and market relevance. The Techtextil North America Innovation Award 2024 honored the system in the "New Product" category for its high degree of innovation, technological advancement, market relevance, and contribution to the evolution of objective textile evaluation. The Innovate Textile Awards 2025, presented by WTiN, named the system the Winner of Changemaker for its groundbreaking role in driving transformative change in the textile and apparel industry.
At Techtextil 2026, Markus Amthor from Global Business Development and Sales Area Manager Stefan Ruebesam will be available at Booth A82 to demonstrate what the TSA can measure today and what the system is designed to enable in the future.
