Index 26 demonstrates the innovative strength of the global nonwovens industry

The world’s leading trade fair for nonwovens provides a platform for innovation, exchange and collaboration across the entire supply chain.

Around 600 exhibitors will present solutions from the fields of raw materials, machinery, nonwoven production, components and specialised further processing in Geneva from 19 to 22 May. The trade fair reflects the strong trend towards high performance lightweight materials emerging from an increasingly interconnected global supply chain. The focus is on technologies and materials that can increase efficiency and sustainability without compromising product quality.

Technological advances and material innovations

Leading companies will present new developments for modern nonwoven production:

• Reifenhäuser Reicofil's RF6 technology is designed to enable higher throughput and improved processing of the finest fibres.

• Magnera will showcase new breathable backsheet materials and softer nonwovens for hygiene applications.

• Borealis will introduce a new polypropylene grade for recyclable spunbond fabrics based on Nextension technology, offering wider processing windows.

• A. Celli will present the VoluMAX3 line, a system for 3D embossing and perforation designed for high speed and process reliability.

• Wisdom Greentech will showcase an exceptionally fine nonwoven based on 0.4 denier fibres, produced using Trützschler's dual carding technology.

Seminar programme for strategic orientation

The accompanying seminar programme will explore technical, regulatory and market?relevant developments in three core areas:

Strategic market intelligence

The sessions analyse trends in global markets, including hygiene, wipes, filtration and construction. They show how sustainability is increasingly becoming a key business driver.

Sustainability and regulatory requirements

Topics include CO2 reduction, resource efficiency and solutions for product end?of?life. Regional regulatory frameworks will also be examined to give companies guidance on upcoming environmental standards.

Innovation in specialised sectors

Expert presentations on filtration, geosynthetics and mobility highlight new technical applications. Topics range from infrastructure projects to lightweight construction, acoustics and filtration in electromobility and autonomous driving.
