Two new inks aimed at higher colour fidelity

The expanded colour gamut now includes Sky Blue and Pale Pink inks. Mimaki says the additions enable more vibrant output, smoother gradients and more accurate colour reproduction, particularly for applications requiring high colour fidelity such as workwear and corporate merchandise. The inks are ECO PASSPORT-certified and supplied in an environmentally friendly eco-cartridge. Mimaki also states that the TxF330-800 is compatible with a broader range of films, intended to increase flexibility.

Longer print runs, built for demanding environments

Mimaki positions the TxF330-800 for stable, high-quality garment decoration in demanding print environments. The company states the system delivers 1.5x the production speed of the previous TxF300-75 model. For long, uninterrupted production runs, the printer is equipped with an expanded 16-cartridge ink system. Up to eight white ink slots provide up to 4L of capacity.

Mimaki’s UISS (Uninterrupted Ink Supply System) is designed to allow print providers to replace cartridges without stopping production. The TxF330-800 also incorporates Mimaki Feed Tension Technology (MFT), which Mimaki says improves film transport without applying additional tension. The stated aim is to reduce the risk of misalignment during high-speed and long-duration printing and to support stable, precise image quality.

Maintenance and ink circulation

To extend productivity, Mimaki has introduced rotary wipers for easier maintenance of the print heads while minimising ink splatter during wiping. The company also highlights MCT2 (Mimaki Circulation Technology), which helps to prevent ink blockages that can slow down production.

The TxF330-800 will make its debut at The Print Show and Viscom Italia.
