The difficult order situation demanded a precautionary accelerating of the production. The polycondensation as well as some texture machines have already been put into operation. Also the spinning machines will be restarted step by step. The volume will be adapted to the needs.

Anke Vollenbröker, Director Marketing & Business Development Trevira:

"The texturing and warping units will be started gradually as required, to implement binding orders of our customers as well as development requests."

The present order situation required even after the cancellation of the shutdown the continuation of short-time work. The different production areas are planning further short-time work and are coordinating the personnel planning according to the requirements in production and textile processing. The scope of short-time work will be revalued weekly according to the order situation and production planning. "We expect that the short-time work during the summer months will be on an average of 50 per cent. After the vacation time in September we are expecting more orders again", says Anke Vollenbröker.

In March the air texturing (ATY) and textile processing was concentrated at the location of Sinterama in Bulgaria. This process has meanwhile been completed. "Our clients are being supplied with ATY from Bulgaria. The deliveries are not subject to any restrictions", Anke Vollenbröker explains.
