Cetex at Techtextil 2026
Cetex presents textile technologies from Saxony at the joint booth it coordinates. The stand brings together developments in machinery, testing equipment and applied research.
The Cetex Institut gGmbH is organising the Saxony joint booth, which covers almost 85 square metres. Exhibits on display include solutions from textile machinery engineering, technical textiles, measurement technology and several research fields.
Technologies presented by Cetex
Cetex will exhibit the latest generation of the ACPM 200P bending stiffness measuring device for the automated testing of flexible samples made of paper, textile fabrics and films. The ACPM 200P enables the precise and automated determination of bending stiffness using the cantilever method based on DIN 53362. It features two measuring levels with different inclination angles, adjustable feed speed and multi point measurement, achieving reproducible results of more than 95 per cent. Digital data output, a high degree of automation and simplified operation characterise the system, which has been developed by Cetex.
Cetex will also showcase the LSE 2000 2 laboratory spinning machine. Operating according to the ring spinning principle, it processes staple fibres made of cotton, wool, man made fibres and fibre blends. The machine can be equipped with three interchangeable drafting systems, and additional modules allow the production of specialist yarns such as core, siro or effect yarns in a single process step.
Machinery and components
Schmietex Engineering will present its portfolio of Mali based knitting and stitch bonding technologies, including working elements, frames and mechanical spare parts for stitch bonding machines, together with additional machinery solutions from its range. PAMA will exhibit customised concepts and complete production lines for the manufacture of speciality papers and wet laid nonwovens, designed and built according to specific customer requirements.
Testing technology at the booth
Hegewald and Peschke will display equipment for destructive material testing as well as testing systems for furniture and structural components.
Research and development from Saxony
Chemnitz University of Technology will present the Carbon LabFactory Saxony, which aims to map the entire carbon fibre value chain from molecule to high performance component at pilot line scale. Technitex Sachsen will introduce several new developments in the field of high quality technical textiles, which constitute the companys trade fair highlights.
