New textile solutions from Freudenberg Performance Materials
At Techtextil 2026, Freudenberg Performance Materials will showcase developments from its brands MehlerHeytex and Filc, ranging from coated technical textiles to advanced nonwoven solutions.
Coated technical textiles under the MehlerHeytex brand
The Techtextil appearance marks the first joint presentation of Mehler Texnologies and Heytex under their unified brand, MehlerHeytex. The company positions this integration as a way to gather its coating expertise in one of the market’s broadest portfolios for coated technical textiles. Customers can now access the combined technologies through a single structure, supported by an expanded global network that offers more local contact options. MehlerHeytex can be found at Stand A11 in Hall 11.0.
Filc: lightweight materials for vehicle interiors
Filc will present needlepunch nonwovens and laminated materials for automotive applications. A central focus lies on lightweight acoustic materials designed to support noise reduction. These include products for door panels, trunk liners, headliners and wheel arch liners. Within the Finsol range, customers can choose between polyester solutions or variants that incorporate recycled content. For seating applications, Filc offers low emission, low flammability and shape stable nonwovens. FilFlex, made entirely from PET, is available as a recyclable option within this category.
Additional materials for demanding environments
Filc will also highlight abrasion resistant and lightweight nonwovens intended for luggage compartment linings. These materials are suitable for environments with high performance demands and can be configured as fully recyclable solutions. Colour variants, embossing options and easy clean finishes are available for design flexibility.
Combined strengths for industrial and automotive sectors
Across MehlerHeytex and Filc, Freudenberg Performance Materials presents solutions that reflect current requirements in coated textiles and automotive nonwovens. Durability, acoustic performance, weight reduction and design options form the core of the portfolio shown at Techtextil 2026.
