Wide-ranging collections on show

Around 400 exhibitors are showcasing their latest collections at the start of the four day event. The portfolio spans womenswear, menswear and kidswear as well as eveningwear, denim, lingerie, homewear and accessories. The Core Istanbul adds a curated selection of 22 Turkish designers, including Özlem Süer, Mehtap Elaidi, Emre Erdemoglu and Ceren Ocak, highlighting creative approaches within the country's design landscape.

Key sourcing areas

Dedicated zones such as Fashionist, IFCO Kids and the newly integrated Lineexpo reflect the structure of Turkey's apparel industry. Brands like Carmen, Serabella, Maxra Govana and Lacrima demonstrate craftsmanship in occasionwear. At the same time, companies such as Incity, Katamino and Loco Loco Kids bring attention to developments in children's and babywear.

International buyers on site

The organisers expect around 30,000 professional visitors from 125 countries. Registered buyers include Paul Smith, Tara Jarmon, Maison Labiche, Moss Bros, SSENSE, Perry Ellis Europe and Namshi. A structured B2B meeting programme supports targeted business connections between companies from Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

Industry insights and strategic topics

Alongside the exhibition, a specialist programme developed with the Istanbul Fashion Academy offers insights into macro trends for spring/summer 2027/28, sustainable growth, digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence in the fashion sector. Additional formats, such as the E2B Area and the IFCO Fashion Talks, provide further input on e commerce, export strategies and circular business models.

Strategic location

Istanbul combines geographical proximity to key markets with strong industrial infrastructure and short lead times. The city offers international visitors access to established regions as well as dynamic growth markets. With its new edition now underway, IFCO reaffirms its role as a platform linking design, production and global sourcing.
