Get together of future fashion technologies

The first Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition will be held at Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) between June 25th-28th, 2025. The event aims to bring together all the technologies used in garment and ready-to-wear production, and be a comprehensive meeting point of the sector.

The ready-to-wear and garment sector Turkey plays a significant role in the country´s economy, contributing to both employment and export income. Employing approximately 700,000 people in production, and with 22,640 exporters, and 42,434 manufacturers, it stands as one of the key sectors in terms of employment in Turkey. When combined with the retail and ready-to-wear sectors, total employment exceeds 2m. Furthermore, Turkey is the 5th country in the world that exports the most ready-to-wear and garment. In 2023, the sector reached US$ 19.3b in exports and has a share of 7.5% in general exports.

As a result, and for sustaining the success of the garment ready-to-wear sector, Teknik Fuarcilik, an exhibiton organizer with over 30 years of experience, is taking proaktive steps. They have leveraged their expertise, particulary from organizing the renowned ITM International Textile Machinery Exhibition, to launch the Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition. Supported by the Garment Machinery Advisory Board and in collaboration with the Apparel Automation and Machinery Manufacturers Association (KOMID), the exhibition aims to attract professional visitors and global buyers from all over the world.

Necip Güney, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teknik Fuarcilik, expresses the ambition to elevate Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibiton into a globally recognized brand. He stated: “We will make Garment Tech Istanbul Exhibition a world brand.” In conclusion, this gathering will cement Turkey´s position in the international ready-to-wear and garment market.
