Premiere on Texprocess
Together with DAP America, Inc. and Dürkopp Adler, Pfaff will present sewing and welding solutions for the textile and leather processing industry at Texprocess Americas in Atlanta.
The new CNC pocket setter “Pfaff 3688” has America premiere on Texprocess 2023. New technical refinements, like the electronically controlled thread tension, the carriage feed with servo drives and the adjustable vacuum strength, increase quality and performance. Further new features are the fullness function and the automatic bartack reinforcement, which enables high-quality processing of delicate stretch fabrics and heavily stressed pockets (also bellow pockets). The new taping machine “Pfaff 8333” (also be showed the first time in America) is a solution for a continuous seam sealing. The new 3-D axis nozzle position of the “Pfaff 8333” now provides the last missing link for unique process control. The “Pfaff 8333” is the first machine in the world, that really allows all relevant determining factors to be pre-set to certain welding programs. The changeover from one application to another can be done by just pressing a button. No tools, no guessing, no uncertainties. And no experienced operators or technicians needed. Just plug and play.
With the “KL 627 KSL” will be showing a chainstitch post-bed machine with a very small post for an easy handling of voluminous fabrics. An exceptionally high seam quality for decorative and topstitching work in the visible area characterises the machine. It effortlessly processes material thicknesses of up to 5 mm. The exhibited “KL 351” is a CNC sewing unit with a 360° rotating sewing head and a template that can be moved in X and Y direction (X-axis and Y-axis driven). This combination delivers perfect seams in multi-directional sewing (sewing area: up to 1,000 x 1,000 mm).
