Preview on the 57th edition of Filo
The 57th edition of Filo will take place next week at MiCo – Milano Convention Center from February 23–24, 2022. What is in store for the visitors?
As for the programme of the two-days exhibition, the starting point is the motto “Do not change a winning team”. In fact, the no. 57 edition of Filo brings again the “Dialoghi di Confronto” to the stage of the Networking Area.
They are short talks, led by technicians and experts in the sector, created for tackling current topics, associated to the underlying theme which characterise the two days of the exhibition: sustainability and material’s regeneration.
The themes will be discussed by the very protagonists of the textile-fashion system: entrepreneurs, such as Tomaso Trussardi (Trussardi spa), representatives of organisations committed in promoting noble fibres, such as Fabrizio Servente (Woolmark), Ornella Bignami (Celc – European Confederation of Flax and Hemp) and Associazione Commercio Laniero; managers and technicians from companies specialised in man-made fibres’ sustainable innovations, like Bemberg, Lenzing, Gruppo Radici; testimonials from projects matching together art, fashion and sustainability, like Olga Pirazzi and the young artists from Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto.
To start orienting yourself in the yarn proposals present at Filo, you can already browse the online exhibitors’ catalogue, while to understand the stylistic “mood” of the 57th edition, you can consult “Alternatives”, the product development proposals that inspired the creation of the collections on display.
To access the exhibition hall it is mandatory to pre-register online. At the entrance to the fair, visitors must show the “reinforced Green Pass” (i.e. a certification of the completion of the anti-Covid vaccination cycle or recovery from Covid).
