25.09.23 – Merger Colect/Le New Black
Masters of sales: Colect and Le New Black join forces
Colect, a Northern European provider of digital wholesale solutions, and Le New Black, a French B2B wholesale platform, have joined forces to create a wholesale platform for fashion and lifestyle brands in Europe. With offices in major fashion hubs such as Amsterdam, Paris, and New York, the merger seeks to expand their reach into countries like Italy and Spain while also considering a market entry into the USA.
The merger is driven by a desire to consolidate the European B2B sales landscape and better serve their collective community of nearly 1000 fashion and lifestyle brands. Colect brings its global customers like Super Dry, Gant, Marc O`Polo, and Triumph into the partnership, while Le New Black contributes high-fashion clientele including IKKS and LVMH brands like Kenzo and Rimowa.
The merged company, led by CEO Arthur Hoffman, plans to strengthen its positions, work closely with ERP partners to ensure seamless connectivity, and accelerate digitalization in the fashion and lifestyle market. He stated: “The main objective of the merger is to combine our positions & strengths as very similar companies, work even closer with ERP partners to provide seamless connectivity and enhance the ERP system with a digital, super effective and intuitive sales tool, and together accelerate the digitalisation across the fashion & lifestyle market.”
Despite the merger, both Colect and Le New Black will remain distinct brands, committed to maintaining strong client relationships, innovative product offerings, and sustainable growth strategies. Clients from both platforms can expect improved services, a broader global reach, and continued dedication to their individual wholesale needs. The merger underscores their shared commitment to innovation and customer-centric values.
