This dye is said to reduce environmental impact, conserving resources with minimal water, energy, and CO2 emissions during dye synthesis. Offering striking shades and washdown effects, especially in dark black tones without bronzing, it´s laser-compatible and creates consistent aesthetics. Artistic Milliners debuted a capsule “EVO Black” collection at Kingpins Amsterdam, receiving positive response from global brands. They plan to expand this technology, alongside Archroma, to enhance denim`s eco-friendly, visually appealing future, emphasizing sustainability while maintaining consumer desirability. “With decades of denim innovation, Artistic Milliners continues to push the envelope to lower the environmental impact of clothing for brands and consumers,” Omer Ahmed, Managing Director, Artistic Milliners, said. “We are enthusiastic about promoting the ‘Diresul Evolution Black’ technology with our partner Archroma as a way to help our industry move towards more eco forward denim production that nurtures people and the planet.” Archroma`s history of pioneering sulfur dye innovations further solidifies their commitment to sustainable denim production. Their “Diresul Evolution Black” received the honorary award for Innovation – Dyes at the 2023 Just Style Excellence Awards.
