Energy cost reduction and climate protection with CHT

High cost pressure due to dramatically rising energy costs and the steadily increasing importance of in-house environmental and climate protection are a challenge for more and more manufacturing companies.

An evaluation and implementation of possible savings potentials is therefore gaining in importance. For this purpose, the CHT Group has developed solutions within its Textile Solutions for manufacturing companies in the textile value chain to offset high energy costs and additionally make a positive contribution to climate protection.

Individual solutions

The experts of the CHT Group work together with customers to develop individual savings potentials that are specifically tailored to their production facilities and needs. Depending on the process, fabric and machine, energy savings of up to 30% can thus be achieved with CHT textile auxiliaries, dyes/pigments and the corresponding process optimizations. In addition, the numerous concepts and matched products can minimize water consumption or shorten process times.

For example, energy-efficient cold bleaching instead of pad-steam bleaching processes in continuous pretreatment and the "4Success" process for energy-efficient and resource-saving pretreatment and dyeing of cotton help to save energy. Another option is efficient pretreatment with the new polymer technology CPT (Comb Polymer Technology) to achieve good cleaning effects even with low liquor ratios and thus less water to heat up. There is also gentle low-temperature fixing in the Easy Care equipment to save costs for energy-intensive heating.

"Time Boost", a process for fast polyester dyeing processes, saves not only significant energy but also time by eliminating pre-washing and shortening heating and migration times. The so-called "short cut" also leads to shorter process runtimes when dyeing polyamide. To avoid cost-intensive intermediate drying, the CHT Group offers Screen-2-Screen with "Printperfekt S2S", which enables printing in a wet-on-wet technology. Special finishing and coating products support minimum application systems such as spraying, patting or unstable foam coatings.

Smart Tools

For optimal process optimization, the CHT Group also provides its customers with smart digital tools. For example, the "Bezaktiv Soaping Advisor" calculation program within the CHT Textile Dyes app can be used to evaluate and improve dyeing and soaping processes in a simple and targeted manner. Energy reductions can thus be effectively implemented in various textile manufacturing processes, enabling major cost savings. At the same time, the process solutions make a significant contribution to environmental and climate protection.
