01.10.21 – Printing technology
Mimaki at Fespa 2021
Mimaki will demonstrate its latest, cutting-edge technology for the sign, 3D and textiles industries live at Fespa Global Print Expo 2021, 12-15 October 2021.
As a Gold Sponsor at the foremost show for screen and digital, wide format print and textile printing, the company is planning the first live demonstrations of its most recently announced innovations.
This will include the first ever in-person showing of the JFX600-2513 and JFX550-2513 LED-UV large-format flatbed inkjet printers, designed to address the high-volume UV market. Engineered for high speeds and high productivity, the new models offer print service providers a broader range of applications thanks to a wider range of ink types and increased media flexibility.
Mimaki’s renowned “100 Series” will also take centre stage on the company’s booth. Launched amidst the pandemic as business-enhancing solutions, these printers are designed to meet current market challenges and enable users to drive success despite recent market uncertainty. This printer series offers high productivity and reliability, extreme flexibility to diversify the application range, as well as a highly competitive price-performance ratio. Namely, the recently launched TS100-1600 helps open doors for printers looking to explore the versatility of dye sublimation printing.
Another recent addition is the Mimaki SUJV-160, a new high-quality inkjet printer designed to realistically reproduce the texture of natural and artificial leather. Announced earlier this year, the wide-format solvent UV inkjet printer can decorate leather fashion accessories, furniture and even car interiors.
And last, but not least, of Mimaki’s brand-new products making its on-stand debut at Fespa is the Mimaki 3DUJ-2207, a small-scale 3D printer utilising UV-curing inkjet technology. This easily-scalable, desktop 3D solution is designed to open the full colour, 3D printing door to those who previously felt the benefits of 3D printing were out of reach.
